Wireless Monitor Systems

Sony has stopped making the CRT (cathode ray tube) monitor on the ground that have been used for many years and are turning to LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) models only

CAM-WAVE Wevie wireless LCD Marshall
This month we take delivery of a new wireless LCD monitor. We were Black Box using wireless links with Teletest Optex LCD monitors. We have never been very happy with this combination, because of frequent changes in the signal and the lack of robustness with monitors, but were not aware of any other system. Well, another is available and we are very optimistic about a dramatic improvement ordered 15 of them. We expect delivery in late January.
The new system uses CAM-WAVE transmitter and receiver Wevie which transmits and receives video and audio using the wireless LAN Wi-Fi equipment used with wireless network. In the tests we did, we found this to give a more stable and consistent signal that the RF system used in the Black Box. We had virtually no break while walking with a camera and a remote monitor several times. On the contrary, had often break with the boxes black in the same conditions.
There is a delay of about half a second between the image transmitted and received, but we have a problem with that nor any of the most demanding customers, we asked. The ability to control its also the same team is a great attraction. Not more than one feed Audio Director separately, using a radio microphone mixer audio or video.

We are changing the brand of LCD monitors we used. Monitors we've used so far are that is available and well. But again, we have never impressed. The 7-inch V-R70DP Marshall is another story. Made in the USA by Marshall Electronics. This is a piece of play and the evidence we have the feeling of being more reliable than other LCD monitors laptop. Also have a beautiful image with increased resolution.
Improved reliability has a price. Wevie Marshall combination is heavier and more expensive. But these are minor drawbacks for what we believe will be a higher and more reliable.
The transmitter is designed to be mounted in the rear battery the camcorder means that you do not have secure Velcro side or the camcorder. The battery is mounted directly on the transmitter and the battery powers the camera and transmitter. This eliminates the need for a cord.
The director must take the monitor with a heavy Marshall CAM-largest wave receiver with two antennas and a slim battery IDX Endura 7s. To control the sound and a special cable that goes to a small amplifier must be transported. It is well established, but we have special bags for the facts that is comfortable to carry this burden "and we are convinced which is a much better system.

Now that Sony makes LCD Monitors
If you are on Sony's website (Www.sonybiz.net) and find the number of PVM CRT monitors widely used by the time my memory is "This model is stopped" next to each. Sony is now offering to replace the DML LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) monitors. There are several reasons for this, but high among them is the fact that LCD monitors are environmentally friendly:
EU considers that the CRT hazardous waste because of its high leaded glass content
LCD monitors consume less than half as much power than CRT monitors
LCD monitors generate less heat and thus may help reduce air conditioning costs
LCD monitors require less components
LCD monitors last significantly longer
Monitors LCDs are lighter and thinner at a cost of storage and transportation
If you are concerned about the environment, can make a small contribution to go LCD. This looks good for us so we start phasing out our fleet of CRT gradually. The pressing concern for many cameras, it's like lighting of LCD screens over CRT monitors in the case of purity and color quality and clarity of the image when illumination of an interview or a scene.
Sony says that "LMD Series offers exceptional image quality." We proven time and are very happy with the image. We believe that BMD will become the new standard next year, so we ordered a dozen 8.4-inch models should be with us at the end of January. The models include the LMD-9050 can handle standard definition (SD) and high definition (HD), including HD-SDI.
The 9050 was made for television and professional use. It can be plugged in or battery, and it consumes less energy than run longer on a battery as a CRT monitor. It has a full range of inputs: analog composite Y / C, analogue component, SD-SDI, HD SDI and Analog Component HD.

Panasonic 17-inch HD / SD LCD
We also now offer LCD Monitor Panasonic 17-inch HD / SD-SDI inputs and the full range of analog SD inputs: Composite, YC and components. If you need a large screen in place is an ideal solution. Unlike CRT monitors large, it can be powered by batteries. It also produces an excellent picture and is lighter, thinner and easier transport.
Summary
The world is changing monitors: CRT monitors are being phased out and LCD monitors are to replace. This has advantages significant in terms of size, weight, power consumption, flexibility and versatility. Some people still prefer the color and image on a CRT monitor, but the new LCD models do not produce good reference photos.
If you use wireless monitors away you should try the new combination Wevie Marshall will later this month. Our tests indicate that it is more reliable and gives a better picture than other options.

The biggest challenge we face is constant supply of reliable equipment. Despite our best efforts, errors will continue to thank God may be relatively few and we are mad. To resolve this problem, we created a policy of "every step, every time." That means what it says.
